booth at career exploration dayMay 12th marked the 3rd Annual Career Exploration Day that FORCE America helped sponsor at Northfield Middle School in Northfield, Minnesota. More than 30 local businesses and six colleges were in attendance, showcasing their expanded career options in the technical trades industries that don’t necessarily require a four-year college degree. There were about 600 middle school students and 75 high school students who took advantage of this great opportunity to explore different career areas. FORCE America had 17 fluid power representatives and two booths at the event.

The day began with an opening presentation in the auditorium for all middle school students where they played “Guess the Career Role Model.” Trent Hinrichs from FORCE America was one of four Career Role Models and talked about his education history and what he does today in fluid power. Chad Grimmer was also there as a Fluid Power Instructor from Hennepin Technical and Community College.
