Improving fluid power manufacturing and the use of fluid power in manufacturing are key strategies of the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP). In support of these strategies, the CCEFP secured funding to develop a comprehensive roadmap for fluid power manufacturing. Over the past year, the CCEFP hosted two workshops where industry and academic manufacturing experts met face-to-face to identify key barriers and opportunities. The results of these efforts are captured in the first Fluid Power Manufacturing Roadmap, which can be accessed here.

To ensure the Roadmap includes input from all areas of fluid power manufacturing, we are reaching out to the entire NFPA membership for comment. Feel free to share the document with your colleagues for their viewpoints as well. Your feedback is requested no later than Friday, April 21 so that it can be incorporated into the final report, which will be published by the end of April.  Direct your comments to Kim Stelson at kstelson@umn.edu.
