Member News: Leadership Changes at SunSource and Muncie

NFPA member news is designed to inform members of key industry updates in quick, bite-sized posts that provide only the most important information. This week’s updates come from SunSource and Muncie Power Products.

SunSource recently announced that the current Chief Executive Officer, Justin Jacobi, will transition into the role of Executive Chairman. To take his place, the company’s current President and Chief Operating Officer, David Sacher, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer. Strategic acquisition planning and new technology initiatives will be Jacobi’s main focus in his new role, and he will continue to work with Sacher on customer and supplier relationships as well as running the professional development opportunities offered through the company’s Leadership Institute. Sacher has been with the company since 2002, when he was Vice President of Business Development. He became Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer in 2003 and then President and Chief Operations Officer in 2009.

Muncie Power Products, Inc. recently introduced Mike Rasnick as its new director – zone sales team. Rasnick started at Muncie in November 2016 and had extensive sales experience in the industry in his previous positions. In his position at Muncie, he will work with the 11 zone sales managers in serving the company’s channel partners.
