In Memoriam: Kepner Products Company Founder Passes Away

Hugh Griffiths Kepner, one of the founders of Kepner Products Company, has passed away at age 94. Born in Chicago in 1922, Kepner studied mechanical engineering at Purdue University after serving as 1st Lieutenant Field Artillery for the U.S. during World War II. Soon after graduating, he started Kepner Products Company with his father, Hugh C. Kepner. While at the company, he invented and patented a leakproof valve for high-pressure applications. He served in leadership positions in the NFPA and the Fluid Power Educational Foundation throughout his career in fluid power. Read the obituary here.
