NFPA Member Company Profile: Newton Manufacturing Company

We regularly publish a short company profile of an NFPA member as a way for us to highlight the diversity and strength of our industry. Today’s company is Newton Manufacturing Company.

Newton Manufacturing logoNewton Manufacturing Company of Royal Oak, Michigan has been building hydraulic systems since 1956. Their facility of 13,000 square feet is completely equipped for custom hydraulic tube bending, tube flaring, piping, welding, machining, steel fabrication, panel wiring, package assembly, and repair. Newton also has the capability of building sound enclosures and making certified sound studies with NIST-calibrated equipment to National Machine Tool Builders Association requirements. Newton Manufacturing joined NFPA in 1976 and has held continuous membership for 41 years! Noel Cook, P.E., President of Newton Manufacturing has been involved in with Standards Committees and the Technical Board, receiving an award for his long-term involvement. The company is also involved in custom design work on hydrostatic drives and gas turbine hydraulic starters.
